Labor Day marks the official end of summer (even though summer still has 21 calendar days left) and signals that it’s time to get serious. School’s starting and there’s a sense that summer vacation is over. But that’s not what it’s really about and here at Islamorada Beverages, we don’t believe that there IS an end to summer. What we do believe in, though, is celebrating our amazing staff and their efforts to make our beers tasty, our spirits smooth, our reach far, and our image engaging. Employee Highlight
Meet treasure coast native Paul Whitney. Paul joined our team back in December 2019 as a packaging hand having no prior experience in the brewery production industry. Due to his inherent interest in mechanics and overall brewery operations, Paul quickly moves up the ranks as a filler operator and now works as the packing manager at our Fort Pierce production facility. Paul’s favorite part of the day is the end of the day when he can relax and enjoy his well-earned shift beers and reminisce on the hand he plays in making a quality product he’s truly proud of. His favorite beer is our Nested Reel (Kettle Hopped Sour Ale). Cheers to you Paul and all the hard work you put in for Islamorada Beverages!

Weekends Are Made For Good Music And Cold Beer In Islamorada
September is gearing up for another great month of live music here at the Islamorada taproom. Ray Jaworski will be playing on Fridays from 4:30-7:30 PM and on Sundays from 1-4 PM. John Ciulla is playing on Thursdays from 4:30-7:30 PM. Rob Garza will be playing on Saturdays from 4:30-7 PM and on Wednesdays the 7th and 21st from 5:30-8:30 PM. DJ Sandy Ziya will also be playing on Saturdays the 3rd and 17th from 12-3 PM.
Test Your Trivia Skills Fort Pierce, FL
Starting every week off right, Tuesdays feature Think and Drink Trivia at 6 pm. Test your trivia skills on an array of topics and show your friends who the smartest is! No matter your house, all Potterheads must stop by on Sept 11 at 5 pm for Harry Potter Trivia, and don’t forget to wear your wizard gear for a free beer. Star Wars Fans will love Star Wars Trivia on Sept 18 at 5 pm almost as much as Disney Fans will love Disney Trivia on Sept 25 at 5 pm, both of which are hosted by JD Sound Productions.
Comin’ In Hot!
Beat the Florida heat with fresh flavors! Stop by and see us at one of our taprooms or try making this Comin’ In Hot recipe at home. Start by muddling jalapeño slices with chopped cilantro or culantro and 3/4 oz of simple syrup. Add in 1.5 oz of Islamorada Vodka and 1.5 oz of passionfruit juice. Shake well with ice, then double strain over ice or straight up for more kick! Garnish with a lime and enjoy.
